We've been doing a lot of sharing this week in Avodah orientation. We share feelings and thoughts, beliefs and knowledge during meetings and during meals. With partners, by ourselves, written and verbally, in skit form, and yes, I believe I've even shared a little through interpretive dance this week. That's besides all the sharing we do when deciding how to keep the house clean, and while baking bread, and going for walks. Like the one I went on today with three housemates. We met a nice Jewish lady and her adorable dog, and immediately offered to housesit/take Rosie the darling doggy on walks. She's already sent us an email. :-) But as soon as we continued the walk, BOOM, more sharing. And more sharing when we got home. And I know it will continue to happen, programmed or otherwise tomorrow, and the day after that, and the day after that.
Which is why sometimes I end up in the bathroom, taking a few moments to gather myself before rejoining the group. I'm loving the sharing. I really am. But sometimes it's just so much, too much of the time. I need a break! Luckily, I'll get a bit of one tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'm going to catch some Zs.

S,
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how happy it's made me to see you're updating your blog! I wore my chacos all weekend around the Olympic National Park and even bought some flip flop chacos today for a certain someone's birthday next week. Let's catch up soon!
xoxo,
K
