Yes I'm Still Alive

Hello dear readers,

I wanted to reassure you that yes, I am still alive. I have survived the earthquake and the hurricane. I think about my little blog all the time. I just have not been posting anything. Lots has been happening, however! Here's a brief update:

- old job ended
- moved houses
- new housemates, lots of bonding to be done
- started new job
- earthquake (survived)
- hurricane (survived)
- flight to Seattle for a wedding got cancelled. :-(
- first week of school teaching 2 1/2 year olds (TBA whether or not I survive)
- old friends in town for many different reasons, good times had by all
- ahh! I'm going to Africa. I need to figure out things such as shots, passport/visas, etc.
- almost at the 400 mile mark for running this year. Yay!

See? Lots has been happening. I also got a new phone, which just happens to be a smart phone. Unfortunately, it is too smart for me to figure out how to get the photos off of it. I will see if I can manage to upload them to the blog from the phone itself. I have been taking tons of photos for you, dear reader! You shall see them soon. In the meantime, stay safe!
