Happy Hanukkah!

Happy Hanukkah from DC, everyone! And yes, I know Hanukkah ended last night. In fact, I celebrated with almost all of my housemates, with candle lighting and silly songs and lots of happiness in our living room. We also had an amazing program on Hanukkah, led by Ri and Lauren. It evolved into a really interesting discussion on anti-Semitism and assimilation. I learned a lot.

Other things I should probably fill you in on, in no particular order:
- I'm sick
- I'm leaving on Tuesday for Thailand. I'll be back in January. Yay for weddings and family and travel plans!
- I am working on applying for jobs for next year. Yes, already. Didn't I just finish that process?
- I love my house. I love my house. I love my house.
- It gets really cold here. Really really cold. I bought a nice big comforter, which is keeping me warm at night (along with a space heater and an electric blanket) but I still don't like it. If it's going to be this cold, there should be snow!
- I was at the Embassy of Ghana on Wednesday. Just doing my thang. You know. DC lifestyle and all that.
- I went to see Andrew Bird in concert on Monday. He's amazing. Go YouTube him right now.
- I like soup and all other foods that are warm. Mmmm socks.

Happy other holidays too! I'll update you again after I return from my adventures. More photos once I have a little color to my skin again.
